Core Values

FA010

We focus internally, to be most effective externally

We do this by studying through the entire Bible, verse by verse, book by book. God’s Word is designed to equip us for the struggles of life. To be thoroughly equipped, we focus on a thorough teaching of the Word.  We do this by encouraging three fundamental forms of fellowship.

Worship Together Corporately
Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights are our opportunities to celebrate God together as a family.  These times provide a boost of encouragement and a fulfilling sense of unity and commonality.

Worship Together Casually
Family members of CCCville are encouraged to seek out occasions for informal fellowship. God has designed our lives to be avenues through which His gifts flow one unto another.  To benefit fully from all that God has for our lives, we need to build strong relationships with other believers.

Worship Together Constructively
Physical health requires exercise. The spiritual life is no different.  We who have received freely, are called to give freely too. Every believer should seek an outlet of service unto the Lord.

We focus on worship

God Desires To Receive Our Worship
God created us with a purpose. He desires His creation to: know Him, walk with Him and WORSHIP Him. For this reason, we place heavy emphasis upon worship. Worship extends beyond the sounds of our musical instruments, and into the actions of our physical instruments. We are called to make our actions and our motivations, in everyday life, pleasing to God.

God Gave Us A Desire To Worship
Man always finds a way to worship. If he’s not bowing down to a plethora of gods he’s giving his adoration to systems of success and material possession. Worship is wired into us. God’s perfect design is for man to worship Him. As we serve and adore our Creator, we establish and build upon the intimacy that He is longing to have with us. Worship is an integral link to spiritual growth.

We focus on ministry.

We Minister Internally
In Galatians 6:10, we are commanded to do good to all. The command comes with an emphasis, (especially to those who are of the household of faith). For this reason we take extra measure to serve the needy within our own midst.

We Minister Externally
Jesus gave us the ultimate example. As He brought a message of healing and hope to the lost, He generally spoke first with actions, and then with words. As believers, we should also be preaching the gospel, not only with our testimonies and our tracts, but also, with a blaring display of love and servitude.

We focus on “making disciples”.

We Emphasize Evangelism
For one to become a disciple, they must first receive the gift of eternal life. Our goal as believers is to make that message a reality to those who are still lost without Jesus

We Emphasize Discipleship
New believers in Christ need: love, encouragement and direction. Individually and corporately, this is what we are called to give.

We focus on missions

God is working on a world wide level. Every community of believers should have some manner of impact which reaches beyond their home town, into their surrounding regions, and ultimately, into their world. The ministries we work with are displayed on a bulletin board in our foyer
